The EyePathologist is a web-based, instructional environment on the
anatomy and pathology of the eye designed to emulate one-to-one interaction
with an expert eye pathologist. It is designed for use by a wide range
of health professionals from first-year medical students to ophthalmic
pathologists as a teaching and reference tool. A database
of more than 5,000 diseases that affect vision and the eye as well
as other tissues, lavishly illustrated with over 4,000 high quality
images, includes dynamic links to a glossary of over 6,000 linked definitions.

diseases without registering
but to see all pages and utilize all the features of the program, we
ask that you register. While the program is still under development
you may register at no cost. We
are actively seeking your feedback about the program features and content.

Program Requirements: On Microsoft Windows this program
is optimized for Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or later and is compatible
with Mozilla Firefox. On Apple Macintosh, the program is compatible
with Mozilla Firefox. The program uses a window optimized for a screen
resolution of 800 x 600 or greater. The program uses "popup"
technology to start automatically after login, this is not compatible
with some Popup window suppressors, if needed use the link on the contributors
page to launch the program.
