Epidermolysis bullosa - generalized atrophic benign

Generalized atrophic benign epidermolysis bullosa is one type of epidermolysis bullosa. It is an inherited disorder with an autosomal recessive mode of inheritance. Vesicles form at the base of the epidermis at the lamina lucida.  The lesions heal with atrophic scars. The condition has been mapped to human chromosome 1 (1q32) and chromosome 10 (10q23.4).
