Acne keloid (dermatitis papillaris capillitii, folliculitis keloidalis, keloidal folliculitis, sycosis nuchae) is rare specific type of dermatitis. This skin disease is typified by the formation of hard follicular plaques in the scalp along the posterior hairline across the occiput. The lesions persist and evolve into a hypertrophic firm bamd that resembles a keloid. This dermatosis most frequently affects black males.
